Some interesting insights into the nature of the industry with particular reference to the Fused tour that wasn't and the Glenn Hughes European tour that thankfully is
http://www.getreadytorock.com/rock_stars/glenn_hughes.htm
Great news also about Stormbringer, CTTB, HT and a possible reworking of the excellent This Time Around with Jon Lord which Glenn hinted at on the recent CHAT here.
Don't forget there's the competition on that site too.

Nice read indeed Keith. Thanks for getting this interview under our attention.
Still I don't get it why the Iommi/Hughes tour never happened. Im not too fimiliar with the touring business but I guess every, and I mean, every club in Europe would book them?!!??!! Just imagine seeing Iommi and Hughes on the same stage in a club. ^%#^%%^R@@ ~!!! -
Totally agree Arjen and of course it would have meant that other continents eg America would have got to see Glenn perform in a full band situation too.
But then again Glenn's positivity is an example. He had already built the momentum on other projects, so it wasn't a case of getting hung up on the Fused thing. Here we are on the verge of a 23 date tour across Europe -
Yes ofcourse I agree Keith. I know we dont have a lot to complain .
I CANT WAIT to see Glenn live again. I was very happy to catch Glenn on the Bospop show and he simply blew me away with his new songs. Pure magic...and thats Glenn, not Dio, I'm talking about
But first it's Paul Stanley in NYC and Philly for me. When getting home I right away jump into to car jetlagged to find my way to Glenn's gigs. Life is terrible -
But the Dio Iommi tour will!

That was a good interview. Thanks for posting it.

Wolfysmith: do you have that on authority?

thanks for this keith

Mr Hughes informs us that "I might want to re-record 'This Time Around' with Jon Lord, just the two of us, something special". That's worth keping your fingers crossed for, I think!

Well Classic Rock say it is strongly rumoured that "Heaven and Hell" will tour next year made up of Dio, Iommi, Butler and Ward.
Look for my previous post in the Media Centre -
