Glenn in USA?

  • OK Glenn has gone to Australia and has played a summer swing of festivals in Europe. Its time for Glenn to get his due respect in the states. M4TD was made for US audiences. Where is all the press coverage?, where is the release? This is by far Glenn's most commercial release and nothing is happening on the US front  This release should be taking off here in the states. Its time to get this thing a movin, Don't you think?

  • I've been screaming for years for Glenn to open for the Chili Peppers. That's an incredible bill that would open up several doors for him and finally give those fine Peppers an opening act that will really make them work.

  • I totally agree that Glenn should support the Chilis. It'd be such a good way for him to get some publicity and more to the point actually get people to hear his music.

He could get Chad and John to come out and play a song or two.

The support act at Earl's Court were a band called !!!, and they were frankly dreadful. Although I would say if Glenn supports then he needs a better sound check than !!! got.

I can't help being bothered by this particular statement. But maybe that's just me...

Brother Arthur, M4TD was made for the whole world to hear. I just believe this was the release that was going to put Glenn in the US marketplace, and so far nothing is happening. Glenn has only played a few shows here in the last 10 years and gets no press whatsoever. Its not easy being A fan of Glenn Hughes music in the states.

There is no denying Glenn's music comes from the Soul and is made for all his fans around the world

  • Hi,

Glenn opening for RHCP would be great for him, but I believe it's not gonna happen as he is a too hard act to follow. He is a singing god, and you don't want to compete with that - especially not if you're at Anthony Kiedies (spelling?) calibre live (am I the only one that thing he on stage sounds a little thin and is hit an miss note wise ??). Anthony has come a long way though - on the first RHCP records he only did rap singing, whereas he in later years has gained confidence and ability to actually sing - read this in his own words an interview recently.

    Just my theory.
