Freak Flag Flying

  • Does anyone know if Glenn is going to get any more copies of the Freak Flag Flying live cd, printed up and available for the M4TD tour this autumn?

For those of us in the Uk we were unable to buy this cd on the Soulmover tour in February 2005, due to delays in delivery etc and i refuse to pay the inflated prices that you see on ebay for it.

If there are no plans to reissue it can we launch a campaign to let Glenn know that there is a lot of demand especially amongst his fans in the Uk and i am sure that he could easily shift the best part of a thousand copies.

Also when are we going to be able to get our hands on JJ`s songs from planet marsh? this has been talked about on and off for over a year now and we seem to be no nearer being able to get hold of it.

    I'd definitely love a copy!

  • I grew so sick of waiting, I found it available for download on one of those free p2p sites. It sounds callous and shallow and I'm sure Glenn would not be happy to read it. But its such a great live album (much more live than SLITCOA) and you couldn't (and still can't) find the bloody thing anywhere (besides copies going for nearly 200 USD on eBay).

When it becomes available again officially, I will be first in line to purchase it.

  • I have to say I think Glenn and his management missed a trick here. So many bands have stuff available via the internet (Dream Theaters "Official Bootleg" series for one) and Glenn even has a vehicle for it through Pink Cloud records so what happened ? I would very much doubt if it will become available again as the music has moved on so much since - its 2 albums ago remember, so to promote it might deflect attention from the newies.
Thanks once again to dpurpleface  for getting me a copy (from Italy) otherwise i would be more than a bit miffed at some of the broken promises about this CD.

  • Hello steve28.

I don't know if you're a fan of "The Village People" or if you use
the "icon" that you have posted next to your name for ironic fun,
but I thought that you might like to see (or possibly buy?)
this group photo on Ebay, of the OTHER Glenn Hughes.

Personally, I prefer THE OTHER ~ OTHER ~ Glenn Hughes.

PS.........Besides "FFF" don't forget the GHCPs who want to buy
"Incense and Peaches" and Glenn's Christmas album from Pink Clouds.

I believe that there will be some copies available on the UK tour later this year.

  • Pink Cloud records sould be like Dream Theater's YtseJam records, I totally agree. I think there's enough audiance out there to warrent the online sales of, not only FFF, but A Soulful Christmas, Incence & Peaches and other hard to find GH releases.
