Live in Italy with Chad Smith

    GLENN will play a one-off show in ROME, ITALY on THURSDAY, JULY 20th, with Red Hot Chili Peppers,
    CHAD SMITH on the drums.

    Chad is finding the time for this show in between finishing the RHCP London Earls Court shows, and going to Japan with the Peppers for Fuji Rock.

    This promises to be as incredible as last years Spanish shows with Chad, and it will most likely be the last chance to see the pair together for some time, making it all the more exclusive and unique.

    Although GLENN will be playing in Italy during the Music For The Divine tour (dates to be confirmed), the Rome show presents a rare opportunity to see Glenn's supercharged funk, rock and soul with the amazing Chad Smith on the drums.

    tickets are still unavailable...Greenticket hasn't listed the event yet, and don't bother going to Ilbiglietto for tickets....they still haven't even registered their domain! :huh:

    I called GreenTicket today....they told me that no one has informed them yet about the gig!

    I hope it's sorted out ASAP....the closer it gets to the show date, the more expensive plane tickets are. I can't plan anything if haven't got a ticket first.

    I contacted Greenticket today....tickets should go on sale as of tomorrow.The only inconvenience is that you cannot buy your tickets and collect them the day of the show at the venue; you can only receive them either through snail mail/ express mail or pick them up at designated ticket agencies in the Rome area. I'm not sure if you can actually pick them up at the agencies the day of the show itself - I'll have to ask tomorrow.

    Still no tix yet. Greenticket says they will distribute them but they haven't been put on sale yet.

    Seriously tho, I'm forever grateful to Chad Smith for his involvement in Glenn's music....as I'm a RHCP fan natural curiosity leads me to listen to their other projects....had CS (and John Frusciante as well) not worked with him I would still be here, missing out on all this GREAT music! Where have lived until now? I know.....I've got the excited neophyte syndrome....but is it normal to play "Isolation" and "Seafull" like 20 times a day?:D

    Thinking about what John Frusciante said in the booklet of RHCP Greatest Hits, ....we are all very lucky to live in a world where there is this much music....we are all very lucky that Glenn Hughes is a part of this world.

    Shirean and I will be there, as will a few others from here, although they dont post as much as they should ;)
