Sweden Rock Festival

Yes, there are 9 of us travelling over this time. It just keeps growing and growing. I can reccommend House Of Shakira, The Poodles (seriously!), The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (although, they're on at the same time as Blitzcreig who are also great), Cathedral and the fabulous Gotthard!
I'm so excited I can hardly sleep! This is going to be the best one ever

hey - that's great - it's been a while - a year or so...! Paolo will be there of course for Journey...:) too bad that Glenn isn't playing there....and Roberto just isn't coming? What about Matteo - perhaps you can persuade him to come with you?

Im a Sweden Rock regular but since I want to catch King Diamond in concert, I'll skip this year and will go to Arrow Rock festival here in Holland. (same day) Almost the same line up with: Ted Nugent (!!!), DIO, Heep, Blackfoot, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Roger Waters, Def Leppard, Status Quo and many more.

Too bad we don´t have W.A.S.P.

Well, we're lucky enough to be looked after in the fabulous Ronneby Brunn, where the bands stay! It's always a bizzarre experience having Geoff Tate push the buttons in the lift for you, or sitting next to Rick Wakeman or John Pettrucci at breakfast. Best one was when we saw Udo from Accept having his morning tea wearing a bowling shirt and matching shoes, lifting his teacup- pinkie in the air, like a true gentleman! Then, seeing him on stage a few hours later in his camouflage gear, growling like a madman!
Wonder who'll be the strangest encounter this year?! Lol!
We'll be down the front for Journey for sure!

We are All for Journey and for manymany more (Whitesnake, etc,etc...)
Very bad that GH and Y&T are not in sweden...

Roberto come to Bang Your Head and the day after the festival Y&T plays in Italy (near MILANO-COMO) for the first time....
Roberto and Dave Meniketti work really hard togheter for this event !!!
Matteo are in hold for "Moonstone Project" news.... The cd are awesome

Hey, Arjen I love W.A.S.P. too! Blackie Lawless Is beyond words! I've been a fan of theirs for 23 years now! Wow! Now I'm depressed ,That just made me feel very old!

Good to hear Im not the only WASP fan on this board Im a WASP fan since 85. I was 11 years old and imagine showing my mother the first WASP album sleeve and telling her this is my favorite new band next to KISS Now basically KISS is over for me (although 2 years ago I went to Japan to see them live) but WASP still gets me very very excited!

Very cool band!
