  • Come on people what are your top 5 favorite bands of the 70's? I'll get the juice flowing with my list.DEEP Purple,Black Sabbath,Led Zepplin,KISS,Pink Floyd! I guess I did pretty good here! What do ya think? :bow:

  • Depends what you mean... if you mean bands formed in, or released their first album in the 70s (if that were so Zep and DP would be dissqualified) or the peak of their career was the 70s?

    I'll assume you meant peak!

    i have to say though, i play more 80's than 70's but most of the stuff i listen to these days is from 1990 onwards - although Hughes/Thrall has been getting a lot of play recently thanks to the HT2 announcement

  • I never see anyone mention Bruce Springsteen & the E-street band....:confused:

    His first few albums are ROCK albums with a little bit of funk and soul.

    Listen to... the wild, the innocent and the e-street shuffle...
    That is imho one of the greatest early 70ties records:clapper:
