Setlist and more...Montrose NAMM appearance...

  • Wow, Glenn was again, just incredible! A blistering set and a wonderful evening.

Newsflash - Glenn confirmed his US Tour starts on March 24th - no other details - but we should assume, at least for the moment, the first date will be in Bayside, New York, as mentioned in previous postings.

    Tonight's setlist:

    1. Darkness To Light
From the new Gamma album, Gamma 4.

    2. Blame It On The Sun
    A Stevie Wonder tune.

    3. Rock Candy
    A Montrose classic.

    4. You Keep On Moving
    You know this one!!

A huge thank you to both Glenn and Gabrielle. They really took care of the NAMM VIP Pass Competition winners - marking off the front row especially for them. We were almost on the stage with him!!

Glenn looked fantastic, with a great outfit - (Fashion report for the ladies), tan suede pants, white shirt, tan leather jacket with matching suede shoes!

Others seen in the crowd included Stuart Smith, Craig Erickson and Johnnie Bolin. In fact, Glenn spotted Johnnie and got him to get up on stage briefly, for a big hug!

    What a night!!

  • Yes indeed! Brings back memories of when Montrose played at the local ice arena in '75. They were touring the "Warner Bros. presents Montrose" album. Bob James had just joined on, replacing Sammy Hagar as vocalist. Ronnie was bounding about the stage. They played a very Deep Purple sounding song called "Let's Go" that was well received. Very cool to see this video and hear Glenn singing this classic. Thanks for posting
