Just a week ago Pat recorded some guitars as guest on a to be released album by JOE BONAMASSA. Other players are among others Jason Bonham and Carmine Rojas. In it somewhere is a pic of Pat's wife Zoey, who is also working in the music biz at a ritzy recording studio in a casino: Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas.

Zoe Thrall has recently taken over management of the newly constructed Studio at The Palms in Las Vegas. Her 22 years in the recording industry includes studio and artist management, engineering, performance and touring credits. In addition to her directorship in SPARS, she is a member of the Audio Engineering Society, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and the American Federation of Musicians.

His first album with COOKIN' MAMA - New Day (1972) is not mentioned nor his latest contribution on the Californian guiter hero tribute GUITAR FARM (2005) let alone the never released stuff of Liddel Rush & Thrall. But overall it's a pretty extensive bio.

His live gig with Michael Shrieve and bass player extraordinaire Jonas Hellborg at the Nefertiti club in Sweden, 1985 won't be mentioned in any discography as they never recorded. I do have a bootleg of this wonderful concert and it still blows me away!

It's great to see Pat with guitar in-hand - there was a time not long ago when I thought perhaps he'd hung it up and got lost behind the mixing desk and buried in Pro-Tools

It's a real shame Pat doesn't play more. I'm always amazed at how some players are just road warriors, like Pat Travers, and will probably be 70 and still touring. It goes in phases. I got into work so much at one point, I didn't touch guitar for five years, but then the desire to play came back. Probably happen to Pat as well.

Hopefully he will begin playing more, at least he's playing some. Awesome guitarist and ahead of his time imho.
