How long has Glenn worked with Tony Iommi ?. When did they meet ?. I enjoyed Tony Iommi's work with Black Sabbath. I also happened to own the Sabbath album "Vol 4" and it rocks!. I enjoyed the "Fused" album too.

Glenn and Tony Iommi

Well, Glenn was in Black Sabbath in 1986. I'm assuming they met around that time. They recorded the album "7th Star."
In 1996 they once again collaborated and made an album which was released a few years ago as Iommi- The 1996 DEP sessions. Make sure to pick up that one too. -
If you listen to some of the recent interviews with Tony and Glenn over in the Media Centre you'll discover how they first met and how it came about them working together.
-
and that was long before 1986!
AYESHA- really glad to see your interest in Glenn and his career!
But you should take some time to thouroghly navigate through this site and Glenn's official site.... you'll be amazed at the information that is available- you'll find several surprises about Glenn - no doubt!
Dave does an outstanding job with providing the coolest multimedia odds and ends, pictures , music...etc. and Fedor over on the Official site is the ultimate archivist- take some time to check it out! Have you run through GHPG.NET Time Line? It's my personal favorite on this site-
On the other hand it's great to stir up the conversation in the forums- Give us a reply about some of the surprises you will find! -

Ayesha.Volume 4 is my absolute favourite BS album, Ayesha.
The 1996 Dep Sessions is awesome from start to finish ... doesn't Glenn sound extremely sexy (girls ... or whatever) on Fine????
Fused didn't blow my mind at all when I first heard it, but it's a 'grower' and I now play it every single day! I keep changing my mind as to my faves from the album, and the repeat button is now worn out due to Resolution Song, Grace and I Go Insane.
Another I'm hearing differently is SITKOR - if you've not played it for a while, stick it on now. It's a damn fine album - though I'll never warm to Gasoline.
Addiction still rules though.
... and thanks for the nudge about Timeline, Mark. It's been a long time since I visited and re-educated myself on all things Glenn -

Well being a new GHCP I absolutely love SITKOR!! The thing with gasoline for me is the vicious screams that Glenn does! I mean they get me everytime!! Ian Gillan did those 30 + years ago but Glenn is still doing it!! Just awesome
And i do also love Addiction. Very dark and deep record. Probably not one I would put on if I were depressed!!
But that's rarely if ever a problem -

Yeah, Shirl.
The repeat button for "Grace."
What a weenie you are.
Just because of a little ax..........
My favorites are #1. "The Innocence" and #2. "I Go Insane."
Then........"Grace."

I agree with you on this one.
I think it's because "Gasoline" isn't just a fast song.
It sounds a little bit too frantic, for my taste.
PS.......Is Jennifer still practicing the introduction
for announcing: "Burning Japan Live"????? -

You'll find, FY, that that's why one of the songs on "Addiction" is
"I Don't Want to Live That Way Again" and every once in a while,
a GHCP will post how much that song has helped them out,
to get over whatever "that way" has meant to each of us in our life.
Yep, it's definitly a dark record. But it's got that one flash of "light."
And listening to that song does help, if you're depressed about something.
A very brillant song from our boy.................
Grace -
"I don't want to live that way again" is the last song I heard in the car this morning and it's reverberating in my mind :p
Yes a GREAT song by any standards. A classic if you will and even if you won't!! -
