• SPV Records has set an August 22nd, 2005 release date for the reissues of the first three Brazen Abbot albums: Live and Learn (1995), Eye of the Storm (1996) and Bad Religion (1997). The albums have been out of print since USG Records went out of business in 1999. No bonus tracks are planned for these re-releases, but they will feature new cover art.

• Glenn is featured on the 95 album Live and Learn....the title track features one of his greatest ever vocal performances. Looking forward to getting these and the new album, have immensely enjoyed Nostradamus and Guilty As Sin.

BRAZEN ABBOT: Early Albums To Be Reissued - July 10, 2005
SPV Records has set an Augut 22, 2005 release date for the reissues of the first three BRAZEN ABBOT albums: "Live and Learn" (1995), "Eye of the Storm" (1996) and "Bad Religion" (1997). The albums have been out of print since USG Records went out of business in 1999. No bonus tracks are planned for these re-releases, but they will feature new cover art. BRAZEN ABBOT's latest album, "My Resurrection", was released in June via Frontiers Records. The CD features guest appearances by the folliowing singers: Joe Lynn Turner (ex-RAINBOW, DEEP PURPLE, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN), Göran Edman (ex-YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, GLORY), Tony Harnell (TNT, WESTWORLD, STARBREAKER) and Erik Mårtensson.

BRAZEN ABBOT released a live CD/DVD package, entitled "A Decade of Brazen Abbot", last November via Frontiers. The set includes footage from the band's shows in Bulgaria in support of the group's last studio release, "Guilty as Sin".

The lineup featured on the album and the DVD is as follows: Nikolo Kotzev on guitars; Joe Lynn Turner on vocals; Wayne Banks on bass; Lars Pollack on keyboards and Thomas Broman on drums.
• In addition, George Lynch's "Sacred Groove" is slated to be reissued on Aug. 2 through Wounded Bird Records. For those that don't know, the cd was originally released in 1993 and features Glenn on two good tracks, "Not Necessary Evil" and "Cry of the Brave". The late, great Ray Gillen also sings a tune on it. There are a couple good instrumentals, too.

• Jon, thanks for the info on the George Lynch album. I didn't know that. Good reason to go on the look out of this album.

Im glad the re-issue albums of Brazen Abbot don't have bonus tracks. I get frustrated by buying all those albums again and again for just one or two interesting new tracks.
