Hi!
Yes, it is time to dream a setlist for forthcoming tour! Actually - should we send our lists here and let David and Shirean collect the most wanted songs or should we make some sort of poll? Of course Glenn reads this thread and fulfills our dreams...:)
What I would like to hear (today):
Soul Mover
First Step Of Love
In For The Kill
Can't Stop The Flood
Written All Over you Face
Coast To Coast
She Moves Ghostly
High Road
You Keep On Moving
Little Miss Insane
Medusa
Last Mistake
I'm Not The Same Man
encore:
Sail Away
Blue Jade
In My Blood

Setlist for Soul Mover tour

That's a good start Tero, but I'd drop all the Purple songs, in favour of a medley of them, like he did a couple of years ago. I'd much rather hear the new material played live. I'd also drop the Iommi/Hughes song you listed, only 'cos we'll hopefully hear it in all it's glory later in the year
So my list would look a lot like yours, with just a couple of exceptions
Soul Mover
First Step Of Love
In For The Kill
Let It Go
Written All Over Your Face
Coast To Coast
She Moves Ghostly
High Road
Purple Medley
Miss Little Insane
Land Of The Livin' (Wonderland)
Seafull
Medusa
Last Mistake
Encore:
Sail Away
Blue Jade
Wherever You Go -
Wow a setlist with only Glenn solo songs + few Trapeze songs... speechless if that happens
I totally agree with dropping all Purple songs. We heard them enough imo. A medley will do. Nothing more please ... time has come to hear the solo songs!!
And you can add Courageous to the setlist!
2005 is gonna be a good year. -
Here would be some of my choices to make the setlist:
All Messed Up...Simply one of Glenn's best rock tracks
Hold Out Your Life instead of First Step...
Black Cloud or Keepin Time for the Trapeze stuff.
You Kill Me
Can't Stop The Flood
Space High or L.A. Cutoff (Am I asking too much here ?)
Addiction
Big Time or Maybe Your Baby
Danger Zone
And lastly, How about Highball Shooter ?
Then fill out the set with Soul Mover Tracks -
I'm with Paul - I'd like to hear more of the latest songs - She Moves Ghostly, Change Yourself, Let It Go, Dark Star, Isolation, Don't Let Me Bleed and of course, Soul Mover - all get my vote! That still leaves plenty of room for some of the classics - old and new, especially Wherever You Go and Written All Over Your Face
-
Right on, Shirean!! The more off of Soul Mover the better.
