And thanks Bill, I'll have a pint (or six) for you

    Yeehah!!!

'You thought that you could take me for granted, but I couldn't take it no more. Better run if you see me coming ... '

  • Just had a thought! Anyone know if there will be a meet and greet after the gigs in Bradford and Cambridge, the latter of which a girlfriend will be attending for the first time?? She would really like to meet Glenn after the show if possible.

Does anyone know the venue in Cambridge? Big, small, great, not so great?

'You thought that you could take me for granted, but I couldn't take it no more. Better run if you see me coming ... '

  • HOORAH!
    Hi Shirl and all!

Provisional bookings at hotel TC for (before and/or after)Bradford gig now open.

I'll also be going to Dudley I expect, but as the others are workdays or followed by workdays I don't think I can justify doing 'em.

Woulda been better for me the other way round, but hey - I sure ain't complaining!

    love

  • Bradford here we come !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hope there is a meet and greet, Then i can get Glenn to re-sign my pix as last time my pen wouldn't work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who believe, no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

  • Hi Guys,
I was just getting into posting on Fedor's board and now it's gone! Still, as we've just moved house neither of us have had much time in the last 10 days to do anything!
We're definitely going to 3 of the shows. The Mean Fiddler date is the night before Spock's Beard, so we're staying down with friends for a couple of nights. Should be good! I'm also going to be doing a tour diary starting with the Spanish shows (once they're confirmed) for Fireworks.
Where's Satan these days? Not seen him here for a while. Must be worried that I have some blackmail photos of him singing "The Final Countdown" in the beer tent in Sweden! Ha, ha!
Looking forward to meeting friends old and new at the UK gigs.

  • I'm able to find tickets for sale online for the Cambridge and London shows, but can't find one for Bradford or Dudley!

    Am I being impatient

Has anyone found an online outlet for those shows yet?

  • I just phoned the Bradford box office Paul. They were qucik and efficient, and I wasn't on the phone more than thirty seconds. My tickets will be ready and waiting when I get there. Maybe that's your best bet.

"How can you lose, when you're destined to be a winner?"

  • Same here James.
Going back to an old post. There are no pubs near Rio's if memory serves, but a few within 10 mins walk near the University. One a real spit and sawdust !! There is a Wetherspoons about a further 400m into town.Or is everyone meeting at Rio's and sampling their fine ale lol

For those who believe, no explanation is necessary.
    For those who do not,
    none will suffice.

  • shirl,

the venue in cambridge has its own site.
    www.junction.co.uk

i am going there as well as dudley so will see you at both.

they give glenn a good write up:

This year sees the release of his next solo effort, “Songs In the Key of Rock. The album features Glenn’s signature vocals (he is widely acknowledged as having one of the most astonishing voices in rock history) combined with a vintage, yet fresh approach capturing the essence of some of the great Rock and Roll classics.

This gig is a much requested follow up to last years ‘Legends Of Rock’ success at The Corn Exchange.
    The Junction book now...

    It's in my blood

  • I'd already checked it out, wolfy, but thanks very much for that.

'You thought that you could take me for granted, but I couldn't take it no more. Better run if you see me coming ... '

  • Just occurred to me that people might not know that there's usually a rock nite at Rio's on Fridays after the gig.

Certainly until relatively recently you could stay if you'd been at the gig without having to pay for the rock nite.

Dunno what effect that will have on any possible meet & greet but could be a laff if a few of us stay!!

    love

    TC
