The owner is very helpful, and knows all of the "Rock Family Trees". Maybe I shouldn't have written this list; this website isn't for free advertising.....but I thought that it might help other GH fans who are having trouble finding the
CD's of Glenn' that they want.Take care everyone.

  • Not sure if they do.
I'll try to find out if they have a website.
There isn't one listed on their business card.
I've never used one, since I go there frequently.
If they don't have a website, you can let me know what you are looking for, and we GHCP's can work out some kind of trade. Because, as we know......
..it's not about the money, it's about the music!!
    Take care......

  • Thanks Grace... Not to be mean or anything but those prices seem really high!!!!!! I just bought Blues used from Amazon for something like 12 bucks... I tried to buy it new from the Shrapnel website... I thought they used to have ordering...I couldn't find Blues on it and I couldn't find an order form or a phone number. Anyway at last I have every GH solo album.

  • I agree that the prices are high (overall), and that the Japanese versions are astronomical!!!

But I usually shop at "Mom and Pop" record stores
because they remember to keep an eye out for the
artists that I am looking for. (One of these stores called me, to tell me that GH was a guest on Tidewater Grain's new album....on the duet, "American Star", back in September 2000.)
I never would have known that, without their call.

And another record shop knew that I was going to the GH show at Birch Hill last year, so they GAVE
ME the poster that I then asked GH to sign, for FREE!!!!

Some places (here in the New York metropolitan area) deal only in used CD's, at great prices, but you can't always find what you want.

The "Mom and Pop" places call each other up, to find the CD that you're looking for, so I think that that effort shows in the prices. Plus, I don't want "The Monster Stores" to take over.

By the way.....I forgot to add these six CD's:

    Trapeze (first album) $23.98

You Are the Music..We're Just the Band $11.98

    The Best of Trapeze $12.98

Trapeze Live - Way Back to the Bone $21.98

Welcome to the Real World/Live at the Borderline
    $26.98

    Seventh Star $16.98

->->->-> Message to JG: I spoke to Art today,
and they don't have a website. Sorry.

  • I'm sorry that you were shocked with some
of the prices; I thought that people would
want to get the hard-to-find Glenn Hughes
CD's at this store, if they couldn't find
    them anyplace else.

And if I can help anybody find a CD, I'll
    try to help, OK?

  • Its good to see a store carrying alot of Glenn's stuff. The prices may be high but keep in mind that most stores like to turn inventory quickly and will special order things but how many people ask? In order to keep inventory on hand that ties up space and money you need to charge a little more for the convenience. Sometimes it's worth a little more to get it now rather than wait a few days or weeks or even months!!

One more thing....lomg live the independent cd stores....they rule!!!
