No problem from me, Chip.
Usually Phil lets me know ahead of time,
when he gets his "future lists."
But his distributors were just very slow to get
"WSOME".......THIS TIME AROUND.......

I don't know but Glenn can sing whatever he wants and sound great. Dario's record is pretty heavy, but who would you rather have sing it? Glenn does great on it like everything else. I like the fact that he can pretty much sound great no matter what the style, genre or whatever. His versatility is extremely underrated.

As A New Member To The Forum I Was Intrigued By The Reviews For This C.d......7 Months On I Am Still Listening To It And Would Put It In My Top 5 Of 2004 ....it Rocks But I Think Has A Common Vibe On About 6 Of The Tracks .........if Your A Rock Fan And Love To Hear Glenn Storming ..buy It .

Well being the newbie that I am I am buying a new GH disk pretty much every week and this is the one I got 2 weeks ago. I must say that at first I had a similar reaction to it myself. I thought oh man I won't be putting this one on too much. But after a few more spins the songs started to click with me.
Then this past weekend while partying with some friends I threw it on and wow!! It just grabbed me!
Everyone I was with really liked it too. Now they haven't heard much Glenn so they didn't have a preconceived idea of what to expect. They were simply impressed by the songs, the playing and of course the voice
So I would say to anyone who got this and really didn't give it much of a chance, give it an honest shot. It really is a great record. I would call it heavy/hard rock as it's not pure metal and it's not pure hard rock. But it's very melodic and it drips with Glenn's vibes!!! -

Well being the newbie that I am
I am buying a new GH disk pretty much every week.........And here I was, about to borrow money from this new guy,
and instead, he has to change his "name" to: "Forever Poor."Quote.......they haven't heard much Glenn so they didn't have
a preconceived idea of what to expect. They were simply
impressed by the songs, the playing and of course the voice.Of course, you IMMEDIATELY handed out the 4 page printed
GH discography list, to each person at this party, as required in
"The Glenn Hughes Crazy People List of Instructions Handbook."
And applications to join "The Airport Patrol."
Right?
And here's the officially-approved GHCP tattoo:

How much you need Grace? It's no problem! Buying the disks is not the trouble. It's gonna be trying to see Glenn live. Now that could cost some bucks as I'm sure it'll be on the other side of the planet
I know I see it here all the time but there has to be some way that he can swing over this way at least once for us diehards. When you see all of the old bands that come around to these clubs and all it makes you think. Yea it's not a BIG $$ maker for him but It would be great for the real fans and I'm sure a blast for Glenn. So Glenn if you read this stuff, what do we have to do to make this happen??? I feel the pain of everyone on here. -
Hey "4"
That's how and why we "started" the GH Airport Patrol.

This album is nothing classic, just a good straight ahead rock album with some nice rock vocals. It is fun to listen to. I like it when Glenn rocks out. Sometimes we all need a break from the funk.

Some fine tunes on this album. Dying to Live is really cool. Agreed it has a Breaking the Law kinda vibe and I love the Hammond solo playing during the final chorus too.
Gotta dig Mollo's Blackmore sounding solo on Nothing Stays the Same. And what an in your face intro too. The title track is very good. I also love how Still Evergreen has that false ending thinking that's it and then comes this mean riff fading out the song. Even the riff during the song was killer.
The closing track 16 Guns too was very good as the opening riff to She Casts No Shadow.
Now I really want to track down the bonus track for this same goes for the bonus track from the first VH album. Hope Glenn an' Dario make another Voodoo Hill album in the not too distant future too. -
Any lyrics on the Web for the Voodoo Hill albums?

Any lyrics on the Web for the Voodoo Hill albums?
I can scan them to you when I have the time. But I must warn you that some lyrics are incomplete on the booklet, and this is a shame
-
About the record, I must say that is one of the best records GH has ever done. His vocals are so passionate and aggressive, as the lyrics are very emotional, straight from the heart.
