Steve Vai DVD

Hey Shirl,
Does this DVD have anything at all to do with the G3 tour
that Steve Vai did with Joe Satriani and (watch my spelling on this....)
Yngwie Malmstein....or is this somthing that he did totally solo?
As Ricky Ricardo would say; "Splain, Lucy."
(And how have things been with you? Write to me, OK?) -
Hello girlfriend!
Email from Mr Sheehan, so not being a follower of Vai I couldn't tell you! Just thought I'd put it on here for information as there are a few Vai/Sheehan fans.
Sure Todd, Chip or others will enlighten you - they all know so much!
Emailed you yesterday -
I'm not sure if that's part of the G3 tour, but it's Steve's G3 band. Can you imagine the guitar ******y that was going on with Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan AND Tony MacAlpine on the same stage? Ridiculous, I'll bet, and worth every penny!
Cheers...Todd -
Release date put back to at least 23rd February due to "problems at the studio" whatever that means! My friend Monica was at the show in London, but we went the night before to the Manchester show. Have to say I was a little disappointed with Tony MacAlpines performance, but then I don't suppose he was there to show off! Looking forward to finally getting the DVD as I ordered it weeks ago.
I got that e-mail from the Billy Sheehan mailing list too. -
Who's waiting til the 23rd? I've seen the DVD in stores already.
Todd -
Well Todd, I don't know how they've managed to get them over there, unless the UK release is a week later or something. That would render the 'problems at the studio' comment that I was given a little lame to say the least!
By the way, any chance of you coming over to see any of the JSS shows here in the UK? You could come for HTP and just stay another few weeks! I'm sure we could find you somewhere to hang out till then! I've got some great shots of us in a kebab shop with Alex still in full Kiss makeup from the halloween show they did in Wigan. -
I got Billy's email too. Bloody ego....the nerve of him telling me about all these projects he's involved in like I'm doing nothing with MY life. I sent him one back and told him I was doing karaoke on Sunday.
Jeff's Halloween show rocked! His version of "Lick It Up" kicked ass. And he's a bloody nice bloke to bootI'm sure him questioning me about vocal tips was more to massage my ego then to help him but it was nice he bothered.
